Alexander Krefft is an investment professional with over 22 years of transactional and investing experience. He is a co-founder and partner of Triple P Capital, a “profit with purpose” private equity fund based in Singapore. Since 2012, Alexander Krefft has also been a partner at Osten, Krefft & Block Ltd., an investment firm focused on private equity in Southeast Asia.
Prior to that, he was a Senior Vice President at Richard Chandler Capital in Singapore, a multi-billion dollar private investment organization. Before that, Alexander Krefft worked as an M&A counsel at AIG in New York, where he focused on acquisitions and dispositions of non-bank financial institutions. He started his career as a corporate lawyer at Allen & Overy LLP in New York and Mexico City, where he worked on M&A, high-yield bond and equity issuances, acquisition finance, and outsourcing transactions.
Alex holds a Master of Laws from Columbia University, a Doctorate in biotechnology patent law from the University of Munich and the Max-Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition, and a J.D. from the Universities of Heidelberg and Passau. He is a member of the German National Merit Foundation (Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes) and the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt World Responsible Leaders program. In addition to several past and current directorships in Financial Services companies, he served on the Board of Governors of the United World College of South East Asia, the world’s largest international school.
