We are seeking an experienced Test Manager with a proven track record in testing within the insurance domain to lead our quality assurance efforts. This role is critical to ensuring the delivery of robust, high-quality solutions tailored to meet the unique challenges of the insurance industry.
Act as a bridge between clients, development team, and business teams to ensure alignment on quality goals, timelines, and deliverables.
Drive client onboarding processes, working directly with customers to define and execute tailored test and UAT strategies, ensuring a smooth handover to production.
Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans, aligning with business objectives and project timelines.
Understand customer needs and ensure their satisfaction by aligning testing priorities with business value and product success.
Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to define and refine test requirements, ensuring seamless integration into the development lifecycle.
Oversee the setup, configuration, and maintenance of test environments to ensure stability and reliability for all testing phases.
Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of testers, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
Oversee all testing activities for web services and mobile applications within the insurance domain, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Identify, document, and mitigate risks while maintaining a focus on product quality.
Identify opportunities to introduce automation into testing processes to improve efficiency and repeatability, reducing manual efforts over time.
Produce well-structured, detailed test reports, providing actionable insights and ensuring full visibility of test progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.
Provide regular, clear, and actionable updates on test status, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders and project teams.
Gather feedback from clients post-onboarding and UAT, using it to inform process improvements and testing methodologies.
Assist in the validation of changes (change requests, fixes, patches) during production releases to mitigate risks and ensure minimal impact on live operations.
Champion quality practices within an Agile/SCRUM environment, driving continuous improvement in QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Qualifications
Must-have
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Extensive experience in testing within the insurance domain, with an understanding of industry-specific workflows and compliance requirements.
Proven experience as a Test Manager or in a similar leadership role in quality assurance.
Deep understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes, with a focus on web services and mobile applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Hands-on experience in Agile/SCRUM environments.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate testing insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
Nice-to-have
Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
Knowledge of SaaS platforms and insurance domain expertise.
Familiarity with compliance standards like ISO 27001, ISO 27701, SOC1, SOC2, and DORA is a plus.
